CV

I was born Stefanie Kösling in 1977.
After an apprenticeship as a tailor and assisting in the costume department
of the Darmstadt State Theater, I realized
that I was more interested in photography.
From 2000 to 2002, I trained in advertising photography,
starting with Manfred Kötter.
Through numerous assistantships with other Frankfurt advertising photographers,
I learned about the many facets of photography.
I finally found my field of activity in portrait photography.
I have been working as a freelance photographer since 2002.
The focus is on portrait and reportage photography,
which is created for companies, institutions, editorial and corporate projects.

Interpersonal skills such as good communication, patience, flexibility and empathy are just as important as technical and creative skills.

Exhibitions and freelance work that I work on alongside my business can be found here on my website. It is incredibly important to keep developing and to keep opening yourself up to new challenges. To keep your perspective fresh and alive. To constantly engage with life, to explore and contemplate it. To recognize the beauty in everything more and more deeply and to share these experiences.
