For her, a portrait of a person is not just a snapshot. It is respect for the other person and the transformation of combining one’s own perception with the individual freedom of the person being photographed to create an expressive overall picture.
The people portrayed here have a personal connection to the places. The self-chosen space thus becomes part of a story about the person.
